You tell 'em Margie. I told my grandson to "Shut up" one time and he went and told my wife on me. He said, "Pappaw said an ugly word". Needless to say, I didn't tell him to shut up anymore...well, not so he could hear, anyway.

Pappaw is a bad boy!!!!

One time I washed my son's mouth out with soap for saying something. I can't remember what it was. He started to throw up. Later when my kids heard their father's truck in the driveway they both raced out the door, "Daddy!!! Do you know what Mama did!!!!!!"

I barely put soap on his tongue!

LOL! My mom is a real stickler for teaching the kids not to use foul language. One day when my brother was in his early 20's, he and a bunch of friends were out in the garage working on a car. One of the guys was a new kid to the group. He kept using the "F" word. A BIG "NO" at my mom's house!

She was standing in her bedroom listening to them thru her window and she heard one of the other boys - not my brother - say to this new kid, "You need to stop using words like that or Mrs. W. will come out here and wash your mouth out with soap". The kid made a comment that she wouldn't dare and every boy out there jumped back at him, saying things like, "Go ahead and try it! I dare you! Cuz she WILL be out here!"

It was toooooooooooo funny!

I was never one for saying 'shut up' to my kids, but there have been times I've done it. It's almost like I cussed from the way they react, but they do shut up! LOL!

When the egg hatches 3 to 12 days later, the tiny yellow-, white-, and black-striped worm-like larva, or caterpillar, has eight pairs of stubby legs for crawling about, and mouth parts designed for chewing leaves, which it does, voraciously. But only the leaves of the milkweed; no other plant will do. Now the milkweed has a white, sticky sap that is highly toxic to other animals, but does not affect the caterpillar at all, except to make his body, in turn, highly toxic to predators like birds that might like to eat the caterpillar for breakfast. And the birds, being no bird-brains, know to leave him alone.
In spite of the fact that you called me a worm, I wish God's richest blessings on you today!

I will live by the words of the old precious hymn, "......for such a worm as I, at the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light......"
