In Wisconsin I know many churches in the state thought out church was too liberal.
They also knew we had the largest church.
SO yes they did shun our church and it was widely known that the pastors did not want their people attending special meetings etc.
It does happen...

I don't mean to sound off the wall but some people go to such extremes... a couple told me (the turth so help me God) that they wore their clothes to bed so if the trumphet sounds they would be ready...
