I looked it up on the chart, but was still afraid to mix them. LOL!!! I mixed a couple of meds last year and ended up with my head hanging in the toilet puking my guts out.
I believe it was Mucinex DM, and hydrocodone. (sp?) The doctor gave me my prescription, and then told me to take Mucinex and Mucinex DM at night, so I assumed (wrongly) that they were all safe to take together! MY mistake.

MissBratt, You should try Myrhh Gum capsules. You can't take them every day-- but you can take them for up to 7 days at a time. They will knock out sinus and ear infections and allergy type problems in practically no time. An online friend told me about them, and I was amazed at how well and how fast they worked! My husband even took them for a toothache and it completely cleared up an abcessed tooth in under 48 hours-- so that the tooth could be extracted. The dentist was amazed. It also works for arthritis pain & swelling.
If there's any chance you could be pregnant-- don't use it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. I do NOT like taking antibiotics, and 3 rounds (actually 4, counting the redo) in a year seems like overkill to me.

My sister keeps telling me that I should get a license and go into herbal medicine.
I do the research myself-- and try to find things that won't kill us that will replace antibiotics. Myrhh gum capsules seem to work similar to an antibiotic.
So many people get the antibiotics so often that they become immune to them... eventually they are going to have these superbugs that nothing can touch because they've taken so many antibiotics. The thoughts of that is scary...

There are very few antibiotics I can take. I have allergic reactions or adverse side effects. I may research alternatives myself. Thanks.

We have a health food/supplement store that will probably have it. I'll check with them.
We used to have a regular herbal...expert (my husband secretly called her the witch doctor...LOL) in Missouri--I miss having her close by. She's awesome. Some people do have a natural ability to "heal", for lack of a better term. The same good intuition a good doctor has, I guess.

I found it on amazon for under $7 the last time I purchased it. It's definitely cheaper online than in the store we have in Corinth.
