I am equally repulsed by the cartoonist of the Post mocking this Pentecostal experience but the thread title ... (that has mysteriously disappeared) once again shows the inability of seemingly intelligent people to compartmentalize or assign guilt to where it belongs ...
it broadbrushes the entire Democratic party and those voting for Obama as playing with fire ... Oliphant is the culprit and the editors of the Post ...
Yet where is the indignant outrage for the sacrilegious ad by the McCain campaign that sought to use the Incarnation, the message of the Messiah and the 10 commandments ... to paint and mock Obama as THE ONE ... preying on the beliefs of evangelicals eschatological beliefs of an anti-christ...
Or the constant barrage on the Christian beliefs of a man who would be President who has proclaimed his faith in Jesus Christ ... by countless cartoons ... pundits and even posters here that insist he is a closet Muslim because of his name or the belief of some in his family.
When will there be consistency ...
We cringe when our beliefs are attack but participate and laud a campaign that has participated in using this same tactic ...

uhm. dan... most of us were offended at speaking in tongues being trivialized so. Palin seems to be able to handle herself. Im less concerned about a political cartoon than I am one that attacks christian faith....
