They have such luxurious stuff now, and some of it looks expensive, but it's not.

The poor toilet paper holder was just left plain. I would have put some of the decorative paper there.

I know. One roll of the gold/black velvet paper cost only $4 and I wrapped six packages with the one roll. I saw it on sale for $3 the other day!!! My beautiful gold ribbon was .50 for nine feet.

And I saw some really beautiful ribbon at Wal Mart. My youngest bought some gorgeous gift bags. Everyone said they are keeping them to use next year.

That's where I got the gold mesh ribbon. So gorgeous. Even the ribbon at Target wasn't as pretty and it cost more.
I always save the bags!
My FIL and I joke when I give him a present. He takes everything out of the bag and hands it back to me. LOL!

Well, it's time to take the tree down and for some reason this year I'm just not ready.
I've almost thought about leaving it up until after the New Year, but I know I'll be glad it's all done, so I'm gonna get to working. Don't really see the need in leaving it up just for me.

It was hot here until an hour ago. Rain and a cold front. Now it's in the 50's. I will leave my decorations up until New Year's Day.
