I can't sleep in the air eithr - only one time in all the times we've flown both here at home and internationally can I remember ever being able to sleep en flight. That's miserable too.

I think Egypt would be quite fascinating! He'll be in Alexandria as well.

Maybe next time.........
I have no problems sleeping en flight .... it goes by faster ...IMHO

LOL! Exactly.

I've had long layovers in airports .... like 6 hours. In fact, because I missed a flight a few years back, I had to spend the day and night at the new Hong Kong terminal.

I love airports though. They're very interesting places.

I think TB was going to try and arrange for a tour to some interesting place or other while he's there. Maybe a canal or something? Can't quite remember.

It does! And that's why I wish I could sleep. People have suggested taking Gravol .... that it helps you sleep but I'm afraid I'd wake up on the other end acting drugged or something. LOL.

Tonight, I drove to Savannah, TN to a funeral visitation for an old UPC pastor (91 years old). We have pastored his daughter, grandkids, and now even great-grandson over the years. We have such a history with this family; it was good to see them all again. They are precious people. Eddie didn't go; he was just exhausted after today's services; he is still recovering from bronchitis.

I made chocolate tarts when I got home; homemade crust and all (that homemade crust recipe that you didn't like, Felicity!!). They turned out really good.
