As a rule I don't watch any sports but the SB is it's own catagory.
I like the commercials___________and was disappointed this year!

If by malfunction you mean the outdated, The Who, delivering a horrible performance in clothes they picked up at the homeless shelter then the answer is, YES.

It still amazes me that anyone takes the half time show seriously. A rock group doing 3 or 4 highly edited versions of their greatest hits.... a few hundred "fans" led to the stage for appearances, and MONTHS of hype leading up to it all.
And I just sit in the living room, hitting Pause on the DVR for a half an hour so I can fast forward over it all when the real game starts again.

I could hear it while I was grabbing more food from the kitchen and watched some of it. It was just really really bad. Have they had a hit on the charts in the last 25 years? It may be time to ditch the extra long halftime at the SB and just have a typical halftime recap of the first half.

Re: Football Haters Sign in Here
I had a bunch of people over after church last night in Memphis. We watched the very end of the Super Bowl - maybe the last ten minutes. I hate football and really could care less who wins, or even plays, but I was rooting for the Saints since my hairdresser and her hubby were sitting at the Super Bowl, 11 rows up in the Saint's end zone. I knew she would be excited!!

Re: Football Haters Sign in Here
There was a church here that had a sign out front all week last week that said, "Saints always win"
I guess they ended up right about this one.
Personally, I didn't give two hoots about the game. Sometimes I watch the superbowl just to see the ads. But this year I chose to go visit a sweet lady from our church who is homebound now because she is caring for her husband who has Alzheimer's. She hardly ever gets to come to church lately and really appreciates when someone stops in to visit. I think she craves adult company. We visited from 7:00 to 11:30!
