BTW, I think Hinn's ministry is an utter fraud, and he has ruined thousands of people's lives. But: I won't celebrate his or anyone else's marital problems. It's always sad to see, though sometimes, it's for the best. (Have no way of know the particulars, here, of course. Just sayin'.)

I have no idea what is going on in either Benny Hinn's heart or in his wife's heart. I have no idea if this is one of those "good guy and bad guy" situations or not. I cannot judge them.

In my opinion, Benny Hinn and his wife are part of the Body of Christ and our brother and sister. I may not agree with everything he teaches or some of the stuff he does but I do believe he is a genuine man of God (a little kooky, maybe, but a man of God.)

I think it is something that "Apostolic" people are concerned about Benny Hinn. I am sure everyone on here is praying for Benny, Suzanne, their children and ministry.

I was scheduled to have breakfast with Benny Hinn yesterday and he canceled at the last minute. I spent most of yesterday with some of the senior staff of Benny Hinn Ministries. None of them are overly shocked at anything Suzanne has done. I have known Suzanne and her family - Pastors Roy & Pauline Harthern since 1978/79 when I ministered for them at Calvary Assembly of God, Winter Park, FL (at that time the largest A/G church in the nation). I am not surprised (nor is anyone I know) and do not think this will affect TBN or BHM much. He will continue to minister around the world.

Saying that - you know how vicious church people are - especially a certain camp!
I am sure this will be a great sermon topic against the Trinitarians and how Tritheistic Benny has been. The fact is - he is loved and admired by millions and his support could drop a bit - but it will be a small bump in the road for him.
He will recover and he will be fine. Just my own personal thoughts.

Interesting that the staff is not overly shocked at anything SHE does when they should be shocked at some of the rediculous things HE does. Sacrificing his family for his ministry is one of them. Where is integrity in the ministry? Whose faithfulness can we celebrate? I don't rejoice in his failing to keep his family together nor his fall in this. I just wish we had more people on integrity in the front line ministry that's all.

I pray God's mercy on him and his spouse. Actually I pray that they would get back together.

Not trying to be critical here but.... Have any of us (you & I included) ever done anything ridiculous or foolish or said anything we should not have said? Thank God the whole world did not have to know it hours later or it be replayed multiple times on TV or Youtube!
What about the many of us that have sacrificed our families for ministry? I certainly have! Any evangelists or traveling ministries here. I can name quite a few in the "Apostolic" movement that have done this.
How does her filing for divorce impugn the "integrity" in his ministry? How is HE to blame when his wife files for divorce?
Just remember - None of US want to be judged with this same judgment so... be careful what you dish out - it has a way of coming back to you multiplied in many ways. We do not know the details and I can assure you whatever you hear - will be greatly multiplied gossip.
Let us all pray for the Hinn family and his ministry.
BTW - I an NOT a BH fan but I do know him and this saddens me both for him and his entire family and staff. This will hurt a lot of people.

well, Im not perfect, but i certainly am no snake oil salesman. I am saddened by any divorce. It is never a good thing and God does not smile on it.

I certainly dont want to be caught by God making light of a divorce, no matter who it is.

That is a completely seperate issue from BH being a con man who has gotten rich on the misery of God loving people.
