Prayer: What else can you do when a Steadfast man collapses.

Okay folks, I never do this but I think it's about time to start. I realize we have a 'hodge podge' of Apostolic persuasions here but I do believe we have some here that know how to pray and touch Heaven.

I've been under an incredible amount of stress lately with a heavy preaching schedule, a new building project, a grandbaby being born and wrestling with our insurance company for the rest of the money to finish our new building.

Well, today it seems to have finally caught up with me. I awakened this morning smothering (fluid around my lungs and heart) and decided I was 'fine'. Went on down to the Church to do a 'walk through' and see how it was going and did well until I was about to leave. I ended up collapsing on the front walkway as I was exiting the new building.

My sons and several of the men of the Church were there working and saw me go down. My Evangelist was pulling up and saw me in that condition (The embarrassment was worse than the fall). They finally got me put back together and took me to the house... I refused to go to the hospital (I know, I know... dumb.) I think the worse part was my Saints seeing me in that condition.

I finally gained my composure enough to take some fluid pills and spent the last two hours trying to breath. My blood pressure is now resting solidly on 234/128 which doesn't help. No heart pains right now, though, for which I'm thankul.

I've got blue lips, a pounding headache, shallow breathing and I'm as weak as water now. Oh yes, I have one more thing... my wife has threatened what life I have left if I get out of this bed.

Perhaps just too much stress and too little rest.

Thanks in advance for the prayers.
