I think the reason that his schedule has thinned out is because he is officially the "In-House Evangelist" (whatever that means?) at Promiseland. Plus whatever he does in Houston plus all of the AWCF engagements. He seems kind of tied down.

Side Note:
I hate that he felt the need to leave the UPC to reach the lost more effectively. I have great respect for him because instead of participating in things the UPC OFFICIALLY prohibit while in it's fellowship he withdrew. It's that simple.

C'mon, get real. The reason his schedule thinned out is that most UPC churches do not preach exUPCers. Certainly official meetings like Campmeetings do not reach outside the fellowship. The rational being that there are plenty of qualified evangelists/ preachers within the fellowship.

A UPC church will preach a man who has never been UPC a lot quicker than one who was UPC and left.

Suber is a big boy so surely he realized this would happen so I think the reason he felt comfortable doing it and knowing most of his UPC regulars would dry up is that he did have the "in house evangelist" or whatever positions in place at the Breakfast church in Houston and Promiseland in Austin.

It should be intersting to see how he handles having a lot less places to preach.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION!

Of course his schedule has taken a major hit because of his dis-affiliation with the UPC and I believe that he knew the consequences. But don't tell me that JS could not fill up empty slots at almost any Charismatic church. I'm sure that he could preach 7 days a week if he wanted to.

I am not so sure. I think the whole screaming persona has limited appeal outside of the UPC and old time Oneness Pentecost. It may be a novelty for some at first but I don't see it being in much demand.

I could be wrong. According to my wife I have been wrong before.
