Alrighty!!! Here is the latest:
I was expecting a call today, or tomorrow. I did not receive a call today!! I was kinda worried... so what did I do? I drove over to the job site and talked to the other employee.
I asked "...has the job been taken, or has Tammy not made her decision yet."
To my suprise the woman says "...she didn't call you? She was going to call you today. Tammy wants you to start on Saturday!!"
So it looks official!!  BUT, the manager has to contact me tomorrow!!!

to not only to "shine" as a MAN, but also to "shine" as a man of
God. What an opportunity to give glory to His Name!
Bro. Berk, pray daily and read a portion of God's Word to keep
you "strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might". If JESUS

Well, Alright!
I told you about the job interview... now I will share how this week started.
Monday evening I was worried about my unemployed status. As I lay in bed, I made a small petition, if you'll call it that.
I said "Lord, I'm frustrated over this situation. I KNOW you can take care of it. I'm not asking for an EASY job. I'm asking YOU for a job that I can do within my physical limitations. (if you pay attention to my posts, I've been complaining about an injury for the past ___ yrs already)
I fell asleep.
Tuesday is when Tammy called to schedule me for the interview...
and I didn't sleep a lick tuesday... or wednesday... but THURSDAY my worries were put to rest.
And TODAY Tammy called "Congratulations, you got the job.."
I start tomorrow evening.

I'll add, I've seen the Lord work this fast only one other time!! And it really suprised me!! Not that I doubt that HE can, I know HE can. But, Usually I run out of patience because I want things done within our my frame.
And I've been deep in my thoughts today. I have taken into account the events in my life since late 2003. Everything that has happened in my life and the lives of others around me has been in HIS will. Everything was on HIS schedule. I wish I could give more details, but I can't.
