How about a better place were the pastor is human, the members are down to earth and they all know; they are but only sinners saved by grace.

And they don't don't assume one is backslid because they missed a few services.

You're painting the UPC with a broad brush. To quote some heavy set guy that was interviewed by Charisma a decade ago "we are not a monolithic movement..."

You know.....If there was a church like my old UPC here , I might go.

But they are kinda backward here, they preach against going to a Rodeo.

I am in cattle country and they forbid the rodeo!
