And right through the truth into finding man's wisdom and accepting earthly wisdom and logic and denying the deeper truths of God

That is such an overly conservative oneness statement to make.
Lean not to your own understanding....If someone is searching for God and what He is telling them, who are you to judge that they are "finding mans wisdom" or not? God knows what He is doing and if it is not the way you think He should do it that does not matter. You are not the supreme almighty here. God is. If Coop is searching then God will lead him to where HE wants too. I think it is funny. Before people get the Holy Ghost oneness people tell them the HG will lead them in to all truth, but as soon as someone does the same thing Coop is doing people jump all over them.
That is what I think is so disturbing about some oneness people, if I do what I feel God is directing and it does not line up with "your" opinions(by your I mean other people in general) or it is not how "your" controling pastor preaches then hell with them. That is not love, that is not true and that is not the way God wants it!

Be true to your convictions...even if it means being shunned by some.
How terrible it would be to try to live someone else's conviction...I say live what you preach and preach what you live...Mother Alvear

Not if one is seeking after the deeper truths and things of God, UPCer tend to think if one look outside the box surely that person will end up wordily. Sorry to burst your bubble but many of us who've step outside the box don’t end up in a world of hurt or doing such things as drugs, drinking, adultery or become sexual beast running around with whatever doing whoever. I didn’t do these things before I was in the church, nor do I do these things now outside their box.
I think many who been raised in the UPC all their life don’t really understand how it feel for an outsider who comes into this Pentecostal way of life then realize what they held as all truths, then begin to see the many holes withing it’s doctrine.
So you begin to study these things you were told were heaven or hell issues, only to find this is not so, sadly the teachings and all it’s traditions you held as truths, heaven or hell, become like the house built upon sand, these teachings begins to collapse within itself, it fall away, layer by layer. Once again your back to were you began, realizing this was not it, sure a part of the puzzle but not the whole thing, kinda like how it felt when you realize the baptize or catholic, etc teachings you held as truths were all wrong and not complete, it’s the same feeling, the UPC not it. But after time you being to see there a lot more, you walk a literal valley of death unto self carry your own cross unto death, than you really do get to a place within your walk were God becomes the main focus, you find peace but more then anything you find love, perfect agape (Jesus). Our love becomes like His, you no longer see this world or it’s people through your eyes, but through the eyes of Jesus, you see hope, you feel their pain, you look beyond the outward man and see what God see. Yes it’s a deeper truth, what you'll see is what Jesus see, life!

I surmise that Cooper is a very unhappy man since his exit from the church and his
being so out of the will of God. He’s grasping at straws and wanting affirmation that
what he has done is perfectly alright, but in actuality he knows it is not so.
I have come to this conclusion by reading all his negative posts concerning the UPCI
