I don't advocate the House/Cell/HFG Model alone, I believe God does work through the larger group meetings, but when meeting in a smaller group there are more opportunities for everyone to get involved, you can't hide behind the pew or anyone else.
We do a combination of both, I use the larger meeting for training and allowing the 5-Fold ministry to train/teach/preach/equip us.
But in that smaller group meeting, everyone particpates, I make sure, when we teach on prophecy everyone gets to particpate, on healing everyone gets to pray for the sick. When it comes to sharing the scripture, or testimonies everyone gets involved. While we are still a smaller church, 70% of our folks are involved.
Tell me how do most churches fufill the one anothers in scripture, how do most churches fufill a
I Cor. 14:26 type of ministry.
14:26 What should you do then, brothers and sisters? (no professionals)When you come together,
each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church.
