It is easy to tell someone else how to grow a good garden until you have one then it is another story...easy to preach about the saints kids until your kids do the same thing....easy to preach against christmas until you take a church that pays good tithes and celebrates christmas.....lol...and on and on....many people do not really believe what they say they do....watch how they change when they change pastures....

The best thing is try to be a CHRISTIAN.....I Cor 13....is the rule we will be judged by along with the rest of the Bible..
..
I agree, Mother A...

Hear this from The Living Bible translation...

1 Cor 13:4-7

4 Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud,

5 never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.

6 It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.

7 If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him. TLB

Even if someone's view of the NB differs from our own, love should reign supreme.

As far as I can tell, the UNITED Pentecostal Church was formed DESPITE differing views of the NB. It was their love for the brethren which prevailed.

"...admonishing all BRETHREN that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the Body."

The mistake today, as I see it from my house, is their lack of viewing those with differing views as being part of the Body.

It's more than sad...it's tragic!

I left without a fight and said Goodbye! So I thought that I might just stop by here and say hey tonight!
God bless you all - In JESUS NAME!

OH - And I even SHAVED to join them!!!!!!!!! NOT! LOL
Funny...I just perused some of your posts...and responses on AMF....and couldn't see anywhere where anybody took umbrage to folks getting the Holy Ghost or being baptized....maybe I missed it but the main concern seemed to be your perceived stand on the New Birth.

Right, without the other side of the story, It's best to reserve judgment

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Hmm. I checked too and failed to see to any rejection of 37 people recieving the Holy Ghost. I may have missed it somewhere, but did not see it. I saw another issue being discussed unrelated to 37 people recieving the Holy Ghost. I will continue looking though.

Re: I was asked to leave AMF for Apostolic Ministr

"Standards" and "Proudfather" and the rest of the AMF crew are just a sad misrepresentation of what "Apostolic" is really about.

I rejoice with you AB over the new souls born into the kingdom and the healings received. Keep up the good work.
