OK, but seriously, you asked "Would You Do It". The answer, for me, is absolutely. If my former pastor invited me to speak to the congregation and explain why I left, I would do it, in a heartbeat. Just sayin'.
And I'd put the video on YouTube!

Personally I would talk to the leadership in private, but if my views would hurt a local church, even you are correct,I would refrain some saying anything in front of the membership.
Ethics and being ethical are very important.
hmmmm...
that, of course depends on the nature of the disagreements. It may very well be "unethical" to walk away if one knows lives are being effected in a grossly negative manner.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
Each situation is different I agree. But we don't know the whole story on this case and the church and all of the issues involved,so it's really hard to evaluate the whole matter.

I understand where Timmy's coming from and in certain cases, yeah, if I were in his shoes I probably would let the fur fly. But in this case, Scott, you've given perfect advice. Well said.
