Tarot Cards are not a game. They are occult tools for getting guidance from the dead/spirits
Totally agree, there is a difference between a game, meant for fun and amusement, and a tool used for divination like tarot cards and a ouija board!

If in doubt don't, is a business rule that I use for other situations as well.
For me, personally, I would leave it alone. But each to their own.

I'm trying to find my way around in forum world. I've "creeped" AFF for several years, but this post actually made me get on board. I have a true story regarding pokemon cards. We were new to our neighborhood and my 11yo son was making friends. He had a pokemon "album" with less than 10 cards. He really was not "in" to pokemon too much but was showing them to another boy his age (trying to make friends). One day he brought home a printout from the neighbor boy's mother that described the "ills" of pokemon. I read it and just kind of shrugged--I just looked at pokemon as another "fad" that would take our money and pass on. My son told me that her son couldn't play with him or his cards. OK--to each his own. HOWEVER, within a year, this concerned mom had left her family for another man......strange how that works!
my sons played with Pokemon cards and stuff from about ages 6-10. And then they got bored with them and passed them on to kids younger than themselves and moved on. Just like they're not still playing with their Legos. Those are up in the attic waiting for them to have kids of their own If you make a big deal out of something, then the kids will fight back. If you let it go, understanding that kids go thru multiple phases throughout their growing years, it will pass just like the rest of the phases tend to. Unless it is seriously evil, my theory is that we need to pick our battles carefully.

I'll take their Legos if they don't want them! Assuming they're not the Dupla brand.
I'm sure some think they are. I'm also pretty sure that some make a big show of NOT allowing their children to open them at the table and making sure that all the people sitting around them are made aware of their 'conviction'.
Are "things" evil in and of themselves? Like a garden gnome, or a "Chuckie" doll?
Chucky doll is fine, but the Garden Gnome, thats a different story!!!!!
