My sister and I watching American Bandstand and trying to do the dance steps in front of the TV

I remember walking beneath the diningroom table without bumping my head while dad encouraged me from the other side.

guess I was always sort of short...

Cinnaon toast and chocolate milk, made with Bosco syrup. My mother's Sunday Dinner which included roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, her famous chocolate pies (enough about food).
I miss skates that fit on the shoes that you tightened with a key and skating all over the neighborhood, riding my bicycle to the store for comic books, staying out until dark playing "hide and seek" with the neighborhood kids!
One more food item, eating just the crust from fried chicken! Guess I was just a little bit spoiled

I can't think of much I miss -other than a few REALLY good Christmas's where I received my first computer (and Commodore 64 and 1541 Disk Drive).

My teen years were in the church..... Far more traumatic than they should have been.
