Just let me know where I need to go and I will begin trying to make arrangements.
Well anytime you come to visit the niece just let us know.

I live about 25 miles from Choudrant.

Does she go to a pentecostal church? We know the Wise's pretty well and they have a church in Choudrant. Well... actually my wife knows them pretty well... I have met them and have enjoyed visiting but my wife grew up around a lot of their family.

One time my '69 VW broke down in Choudrant...the people at the gas station there were so kind...let me sit there for hours while I waited on my FIL to pick me up. I walked down the road a ways and found the Pentecostal church...whoever was there was kind of cranky, though

Well, she's more of the type that likes to concentrate on good, solid preaching...

Sooo...

Excellent music
Short sermon
Long altar call

She said, "It was good."

I liked it. I have to admit, even though I am in general agreement with some of the "standards" in oneness pentecost, it was nice thinking that I could go to any one of the members with a concern, instead of just the ones that "looked right."

LOL... That doesn't sound like the Wise family. They are generally in a state of chronic happiness.

I am not sure if there are any other pentecostal works there nor am I sure how long the Wise family have been there.

But... I guess everybody can have their bad day... it's about right that, if ith was them and they were having one of those rare bad days, they had it on the day you broke down in town.

How long ago was that?

Two summers ago, In June, I think. I didn't get the impression that it was the pastor's family. There was an RV in the back..perhaps a visiting minister or church member? You know how cranky those board members can be

LOL... Yes sir...

They have definitely been there at least 2 years so there is a decent chance that you had the right church... possibly the wrong representatives.

And I was only 25 miles down the road. We could have come and picked you up... took you out to eat... and filled your waiting time with good fellowship.

Don't forget us if you come through this way again... We will go by El Alazan and Juanita will take good care of us.

Hopefully... should there be a next time... the circumstances will be different.

One time we broke down on the side of I-20 (flat tire) and the Brother Wise & Brother Terry were driving by. They saw us and pulled over and would NOT let us change the tire. They jacked it up, changed it and everything.

Great folks... but that didn't do you much good that day.

They actually go to the Wise's church... they function as the youth leaders among other things. You know how it is in a small assembly... those that will get plenty of opportunity! Their names are Kendall and Alisa Corkern... they used to go to Bro. Barnes' in Minden with LAGirl.

I will definitely look you up when I come up that way!
