No.

The one step position has always been a valid position among Oneness Pentecostals.

If one steppers are going to hell, then many of the old Jesus' Name pioneers will be roasting there forever, along with many, many UPC officials (international and local), missionaries, pastors, teachers, etc.

My perception of Felicity and TB based upon the totality of their posts at the various incarnations of FCF, NFCF and AF is that Felicity could make the trip back to the UPC but I don't see TB going down that path.

Like Felicity he may not be totally happy or pleased with his current fellowship but I have a feeling he has some real differences that matter between himself and the UPC. Things that are important. I think Felicity just misses the fellowship and the intensity of the closed culture.

Boy, if that isn't loaded!

LOL!! People in "seperated" religous sects tend to have very strong communties. Both because they relate best to those who are like them and because they tend to have an "us against them" mentality.

You should know that from your Mennonite past.

Again, you put "separated" in quotes implying what?

The fact is "separated" groups and "closed cultures" do not often encourage their youth to pursue higher learning in colleges and universities, community service, and go engaging the culture on reality TV shows...

I still think many of you EXers are on a pendelum swing :gclock from a UPC of the past. Oh, I know there are still some examples for you to give me, but it is not the current direction of the UPCI you have strong issue with... IMHO

Well I am getting ready to make the whole bunch mad. I think most of you folks have separation anxiety yourselves. You can't get past it. Many of you have been gone for years but yet hang on every piece of information about the UPC. Maybe they are just braver than y'all. I think if TB could join without violating his conscience he would be in before the meeting is over. I have sensed some yearning in him also. All the bragging he has done about the ACOP to me it seems he was trying to convince himself. But the new birth is a 'biggie' to him and he is not going to lie. We do not agree but he is an honest man. However if they would give him some latitude he is gone.

I would expect the body of Christ to be a 'tight' community.
