Yeah, I think it dump a lot more east of us. We got around six where I live and Bartlett got around eight, but between here and Jackson really got a bunch!

Well Zac made it back to Murfreesboro with no problems - the interstates are clear this afternoon. I was relieved to talk to him and know he was there though. Of course I'm that way every time he drives back - has nothing to do with the weather and all about being the Mom.

The sun being out today really helped. I keep hearing loud clanging noises - it's ice breaking loose in the drains and crashing down next to my porch!
In the shaded areas the snow hasn't budged, but all the roads and in the sunny areas it has melted good.
I fear black ice tonight since it's not dried up - real wet and will refreeze once the temp drops again.

I saw the weather channel and the forecast for snow in TN and thought....wow. What a time for them to be right. 
We got 4" Fri night and Sat morn, but we expect it in February. Since it was my one Sat off a month, I stayed inside my warm house.
