To answer the question. OF COURSE! Look at the word Christmas. CHRIST, the savior of the world . MAS shortened from MASS, a service of the catholic church and we know they are Christian, CHRISTMAS, so what's the problem.

I am sort of lost on this really. I am not American and do not understand a lot of how you guys explain it or your definitions (sorry) but I don't get the concept of God wanting us NOT to celebrate Holidays of any. My German-Hungarian-Apache-Black backgrounds celebrate MANY Holidays, Customs and occasions ~ I am blessed!

I notice the person who was offended at my remarks a out UPCI culture was blasting someone about their misgivings of the winter solstice. Even if disagreement I never ridicule personal convictions. I have concerns about judgmental attitudes associated with those views. I applaud the person who disagrees with Xmas. People are lying to ther kids when they convince kids Santa Claus is real. My kids know about Saint Nicholas. I never tried to get my kids excited about mythical characters.

Will you be coming with a list of houses you want to check out? That is what we did. We spent a few weeks before our visits fine tuning the dozen or so houses we wanted to visit during the 3-4 days we had.
Not sure yet. We have so much to do. I'm going to revisit some possible job prospects while we are there and trying to check out a couple schools.
