A member of the UPCI pays dues. Headquarters and District dues. In my district it is $50 a month and the HQ dues are approx $400 a year. If I dont like to pay dues than I can drop my license. I do not pay tithes to the district I pay dues. The UPC does not require that the tithe or a part be paid to them.

Please forgive me, were you ever a minister in an organization which required you to give 100% of the tithes to the organization? Why I ask this, is because of the below statement....

I then answered by referencing the Brazilian organization God is Love, (I think Christian Congregation is the same) because they give all tithing back to their organization.
Brother Charnock and I have discussed this topic in length and he would understand my reference to the giving back of money taken while he preached what he now rebukes.
Please accept my apologies for bringing up an item that you would have no idea of what I was trying to say to my brother.

True statement. However, in some districts, the licensed ministers are encouraged to take their dues out of their tithes before paying them to the local assembly.

That is a good question Adam.
When I was in the UPCI, the other saints, not the pastor told me that we are supposed to pay 10% of all our earnings to the pastor, who then pays his tithes to the district superintendent, who then pays his tithes to the HQ.
Is this misinformation?

You are so fortunate you weren't asked to give Gentile foreskins like they do in the LDS.
