Re: I believe social and political liberalism is..

Interestingly the Old Testament economy of ancient Israel has a structure akin to an agrarian socialist economy. Most Bible thumping Republicans completely ignore this. Go figure.

Yea Chris, blame the "hard right" for the fractious nature of our politics. Dont blame Nancy Pelosi and the kind of partisian retoric she was spewing from the floor of congress yesterday morning. dont blame groups like ACORN that are commiting feloy fraud in YOUR STATE right now and are under investageation in 11 other states RIGHT NOW, but even this week Liberals in Congress tried to give them and other groups like them 20 billion dollars!

DONT blame the LIBERAL activist who protested at the Republican convention and where 300 of them got arrested for distruction of private property and assautling police officers!

No, this problem is RUSH LIMBAUGH's fault!

Sadly you dont even recognize just how insane your post above is.

Thank you for creating a right wing nutcase society where vicious salivating conservatives quickly gnash on anyone who dares disagree with their narrow right wing agenda.
LOL! i find it hard to believe that a person working in a government office any where in the united states of America is surrounded by conservitives. LOL! that notion just tickles my funny bone.

I know that the Democrats are to blame for a significant share of all this too Ferdie. But I think most people have never heard of ACORN. I know I haven't. Also I doubt most people know about the destruction of private property that you spoke of. Most do know the hard right rhetoric on the radio though.

This is why I think if one votes for either Republican or Democrat they're terribly misguided. It would be far better to vote Libertarian or Constitution Party over either of the two major parties. As I said...the two major parties are the right and left hands of the evil that's destroying our country. And fools are crying, "Vote for the lesser of two evils!" Ah...but the fools don't realize....a vote for the lesser of two evils....is still a vote for EVIL.

Ferd, we all know that the poor tithe was a national tax on the land and that a poor tithe funded the storehouse to which the poor, widows, orphans, and strangers could turn. We know that the religious system of the OT held public office, essentially a state religion. We know that the Law required land owners to allow the poor to glean from the corners and edges of their crops. And essentially, though unobserved, the Law spoke of the Jubilee in which the land was to return to it's original owners. All are essentially an agrarian socialism or agrarian distributism. It's a no brainer. But that goes along with my theory that partisans (on both sides) don't have brains of their own.

This is a very conservative region of Ohio and you're just proving your own ignorance. Even the Democrats around here have a tendency to be rather conservative.

This is your interpretation on one point, secondly there was no choice of two parties.

Comparing the structure of political ancient Isreal and with how it is organized today is like comparing a Model T with a 2008 Ferrari.

Your high horse is a mini donkey.
