Re: Debate Location Needed:
The entire point of my religious upbringing was that no one was saved but Oneness Pentecostals who believed in one God, had been baptized 'right', and had spoken in tongues.
We would go to their concerts, but wouldn't raise our hands and worship with them, because that would be wrong, because they were worshiping a false god (yeah, I know!).
We would read their books, and just sigh at how sad it was that they knew so much, but were still lost.
We would never EVER consider calling them brother or sister.
Things may be slowly changing, but believe me - the Pentecostal movement still largely believes that they're the only ones going.
(that's one of the reasons the closed forums exist - they don't like the fact that the heretics on AFF don't believe that Trinitarians are lost. Just try bringing up that subject on those forums! They'll boot you quick.)

I once had a Youth Conference At Randy Keyes church and he made me stand by the platform entrance and inspect every person who went on stage for anything gold.
I think a lot of these guys have left the UPC and formed that new organization...can't think of the name...but that's what I would mean by psycho conservative. To me, the South wasn't quite that bad, but I could be wrong.

I thought it was "Prayer, Supplication, and Revival"?
But actually heard it more by its more accurate name which you referenced, "Pharisees & Sadducees Retreat."
These folks wouldn't attend many of the UPCI events because of "liberal" churches attending those events, think Ike Terry and his successor. Mulling's was considered liberal at the time by the PSR crowd and he (Mullings) would be conservative anyplace else in the country.

What you describe is my personal experience growing up UPC with the exception that I knew some churches that allowed their folks to go to Christian concerts put on by those they considered unsaved. However most did not.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I had pastors on both sides of that.
Had one tell me I don't guess it will hurt you to go but it won't feed you spiritually.

The only time we discussed either invocation or Medina was a month later, in June 2010, where you continued to self-promote this Defenders of the Fort conference ... that has no venue ... two months out ....
I then asked if you would have Medina come on the forum.
Unless you are posting here under another username .... but I'd doubt you'd call on your Enseyite posse.
I still can't get why the TBC or campground location is not available to you guys ... considering this labor of love?
Dooby, dooby doo ....

Keep working that attribute my friend. It was another thread, you were going on, as usual, ad nauseum about the oral invocation, including the calling of the name of Jesus, a being a magical formula. Regarding locations, I would like to come to Houston one day.

Re: Debate Location Needed:
Some of us need to be content where we are and move forward. Forget the past and make the best of your life and with God, right now. Some of you always bring up the same stories and the same "pitch". I mean DA, your infatuation with Stoneking is a phenomenon man. An obsession. Relax a little.
