Some folks are her to simply post in Gabby's Thread (including ronb) and others are here for subjects like found in Deep Waters. Others are here for Deep Waters, but simply find threads like Gabby's.. or this one droning about how no one posts in Deep Waters type subjects. If you want a different board, post differently. No need to grip and moan and complain about it all over the place. Given the right stimulation, any dull thread can come to life.
This is more of the vision that the owners spoke of when we began again to build ApostolicFriendsForum from where we were at. I dare say we don't need to criticize FCF nor NFCF, but this was to be a bit different from either. I question why some ARE here. They seem to argue with anything presented. Others came to relate to a past they are still reaching for. The final group came for a refuge from beatings, either perceived or actual.
We created both a Sanctuary, and a Fellowship Hall to try to appeal to both groups. At some point, we have to leave the surroundings of one large mix mash wanting our point to be taken. (Otherwise termed by me "Four minutes of fame") We need to at times venture to other areas and offer what we can of what we have experienced, and what we have done with it, and how we found peace in our decision. Someone else is not as verbose, is not able to put on screen what they feel as well as others. They are lurking, and reading, and hopefully stronger from it all.
Is that like a plurality of majesty's?
I thought ths forum was about "ME" and not about "YOU!"
