And after having enjoyed the experience so much they make certain everyone else has a long ordeal proving their worth as well.
Kind of like Luther crawling up the Spanish Steps in Rome? He couldn't crawl painfully enough to ease his burdened conscience. Takes a lot of sin to be that bad.
