We had Easter dinner tonight and now we are waiting on a crumb apple pie to come out of the oven.

Resting the rest of the night!

Yum!! I made one of those last week. It's a lot of trouble doing all the apples, but it's worth it.

How is Tarah feeling? Did she get a different car?

I made two apple pies last night and a crowd of hungry howies came in and ate one when it was fresh from the oven...!!

Oh well, it was good...it's Felicity's recipe and it the only one I've tried. Is your crumb apple posted somewhere?!

She's doing a lot better. She's driving my car now and I've got the rental - it's a brand new Honda Accord.

We still haven't heard from the body shop yet, so not sure if it's totaled or not. Thanks for asking!

Oh, for some reason, I thought yours were up here too. I guess that was a long time ago, huh?

Just got home and I'm s-o-o-o-o-o tired! It's been a l-o-n-g day.

Wonderful service this morning and then we had a wedding at 2:30 this afternoon. The reception started at 6.

The most beautiful wedding I've been to in a long time. This couple are not young - she's in her 40s and he's a little older but they are SO in love! It's just absolutely wonderful to see because they both have waited so long for the right person to come along.

Everything about the wedding was total class, the music was more classical style -- I loved it, and there was a beautiful spirit and presence of God as well. The sad thing is that the new bride will be moving to Victoria and I am going to miss her so much.

I'm going to bed in a few. Got a busy day tomorrow with all my family here for dinner. We'll probably eat around 2. It's going to be so nice having everybody around the table again and looking forward to some laughs and great conversation.

Yeah... many moons ago.

My mom was born and raised in Adamsville. Still has family around there.
