And Bro. Benincasa, I don't really have any desire to fight organizations or those who left them. I just have little respect for those that spend energy trying to tear down those trying to do good.
Sorry if thats a bother.

Again:
Can you explain why this so called "ark of safety" in Apostolic circles (standards and doctrinal positions) hasn't kept a good number of people and preachers who live it to the tee safe....

I value character more than fellowships or friends. Part of that character is not throwing javelins at those that are trying to do good just because a few are idiots.

This is another thread where I read the initial post and the first page then VERY lightly skimmed a few more posts between there and here at random.
The story in the first post was truly sickening. The fact that someone would invite a group of practicing homosexuals and wash their feet all the while apologizing for speaking against them, is dead wrong. But nearly as sickening is the sense of people trying to outdo each other in their level of disgust at "homo's" and queers. People, this is a group that needs to be reached OUT to -not apologized to, but neither sneered at as some sort of Neanderthal-based missing link fossil either. I have come to the conclusion that the only reason people take SUCH a visual public distaste to the "homo's" is simply to gain pious points among their peers.
A man doing a GREAT work in this community is Ray Highfield. I have never seen a man show more compassion to a group that is, quite frankly, hard to show compassion to sometimes.

Did Noah wash
their feet on national tv to get them in the ark? I doubt it.
I try to befriend people one by one.I am not into public bashing but I
live in an area where homosexuality is even celebrated yearly with a festival.
Sorry but truth needs to come across the pulpits loud and clear.Perversion
is still wrong.Men lying with men is perversion.Women lying with women is perversion.Somebody needs to pound the pulpits and airwaves of America
with truth. There are enough shows on tv and the radio including pod casts etc
pro perversion. What is keeping us from getting into the act of anti perversion.
I say what is good for the goose is good for the gander.Kudos to those who
still preach against it.
Yes I do believe Noah met with opposition.Human nature has not changed.
They did not show up in droves for a free voyage.

Yeah they really showed up in force like all those who escaped from Sodom and Gomorah.
Hey let's what all the politically correct Christians invite the homosexuals over their homes to be accepted, and not push the Christ on them, better yet let's not mention the name Jesus, let's just say god. Let's invite Steve and Trevor over for some Christmas refreshments and our children can sing some Christmas carols, just nothing too religious, maybe just Frosty the Snowman. Or maybe invite Betty and Bertha over for our youth group's harvest festival hayride? Be sure not to be overly enthusiastic when the group prays over their trick or treat, uh, I mean beverages.

When Jesus met the woman at the well, did he hum haw around with words, or did he point out all the sins she'd ever done? Then He had no problem telling her right out that the man she was living with now was not even her husband.
Then He told her to go and sin no more, and He didnt beat around the bush about that either I don't imagine.
Sin is sin and we need to call it what it is.
