I'm with you on the mess that we're in with this stuff. But some things about it are real, and I know for the family members who had it, it wasn't a fun day in the park... it was far worse and much stranger than the flu. And they were scattered over the US too. Yet, here where I live, I know no one else who has had it.
It makes me wonder if they are spreading the virus in some form (spraying?) in certain areas to make it bad enough to work the public up.
Indeed, why the homeless aren't just dying by the hordes because of it?
More questions than answers, for sure.

It's amazing you still cling to a belief in "the virus" in spite of them practically admitting there is no such thing. The VERY SAME PEOPLE who tell you "there's this horrible virus going around" admit that almost everyone they claim has it, DOESN'T.
You and others are concerned about "them" crop dusting some phony virus on you when you ought to be concerned about the fact that LITERAL COMMUNISTS ARE LITERALLY TAKING OVER THE COUNTRY AND HAVE LITERALLY STATED THEY INTEND TO LITERALLY MASS MURDER YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDKIDS.
Mass murder, ethnic cleansing, and genocide are stark naked realities of communism. And now they are actually in the process of bringing their Bolshevik Red Revolution LARP of death to the US of A. More questions than answers? Friend, that's only because you've been asking the wrong questions. The answers are staring all of us in the face, and have been for decades.
McCarthy tried to warn us....

I don’t know anyone in CA who has it. Only recently someone (several) in my circle in Tx tested positive.

California has - despite being one of the most restrictive (yes, I said despite) - had very few deaths per million, assuming you believe the numbers provided. According to reports, they're sitting between Texas (105 D/M) and Florida (187 D/M) for deaths per million (163 D/M currently), with a total reported deaths of 6,445. Meanwhile, NY has reported 1,663 D/M (32.3k total), NJ has reported 1,748 D/M (15.5k total) and both Mass (8,268 total) and CT (4,348 total) are reporting around 1,200 D/M.

Yeah, it's all about some "pandemic." Riiiiiight.

No contact tracing app on my phone. Maybe it's just an iPhone thing? That wouldn't surprise me, as Apple people are generally Sheeple (no offense to Apple fans on this forum, but it's true, generally speaking).
It's certainly not on my Android phone.

I found it on my Android phone, unnanounced. Had to look for it, as it's kind of hidden. I "disabled" it. That's what the GUI says but who really knows?

For android, click Settings, you should see "Google", tap that, it should list "Services". You may notice a "COVID 19 Exposure Notifications" listed.
