Re: Was judas finally saved?
Judas likely expected Christ to escape as he did many other times. But what caught Judas, is he was using Christ to gain money, not fully believing Christ would actually get arrested.

The scripture says that when Jesus was condemned to death was when Judas repented.
According to the gospel he was not expecting Jesus to get the death penalty.

Re: Was judas finally saved?
Judas is the "son of perdition". Psalm 109 is all about him. He is lost.

Actually it was 30 pieces of silver. Ironically he could have gotten 40 as that was the bounty price for a male. It was only 30 because Jesus was purchasing a bride, bible scholars have said.

Re: Was judas finally saved?
Psalms 41.9 is considered the prophecy of the betrayal by Judas: "Yea, mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me." Scholars have said this is a generalized prophecy with a specific fulfillment. In hindsight we know it was Judas but if he didn't betray Jesus someone else would have. In fact all betrayed him by consent and abandonment.
