I just joined the Apostolic Forum and saw your post that you have a great song list that you are willing to share. Would you mind sharing with me? I am not sure how to do this so you may have to help me figure it out . God Bless

The songs I bolded are songs we sing in my assembly, and about 1/3 of the songs I bolded I had never heard in UPC assemblies before, because the UPCs in my area have all gone over to singing the newer stuff. We sing a lot of "older" music, but we're not old fashioned, with "old" music, it would be 70's, 80's and 90's stuff (or so I hear it's from that time, since I was born in the late 80's).

Anyways, to the slow songs, do you have "Come Let Us Glorify the LORD"?

The words:

Come let us glorify the LORD,
Sing Hallelujah to the LORD,
Come let us worship HIM,
Bow down and worship HIM,
For HE is GOD and LORD of all

The song is sung slowly, and we sung it this past Wednesday and really felt a move of the spirit.

I'll write more later.

-Bro. Alex

Re: Looking For Some Of The Old Songs. (20 years a

Are you wanting the chords for your daughter as well? I am a piano player - have been playing and leading worship in the Apostolic setting for about 5 years now and grew up in this setting with this generation of songs There are a few "trick" chord progressions and runs I could email you that you could pass on to your daugher - they fit just about any of these older Apostolic choruses - they are very easy and could broaden her repretoire and improvisational abilities greately I would also be able to email the chord charts I have for some of these great songs as well, or if there's a specific song that you want chords for or if there's anything else I could do to help with integrating blended worship (older apostolic choruses with newer praise and worship songs) ... just let me know. It sounds like you are handling this situation really well and that God is moving among your worship team and congregation!! Praying I can somehow be a blessing to you all!!

Re: Looking For Some Of The Old Songs. (20 years a

Some other possibilities
Rain on me
I know my God can Do it
Here I am, Lord
Thanks, thanks, I give you thanks
You're my Brother you're my sister
All in Him
God's not Dead (He's still Alive)
Everybody will be Happy Over There
I am Determined (or My Heart is Fixed)
Beyond the Open Door
Anointing, fall on me

Not sure all are old, but alot of them are older

Felicity, I would love to have that file, if I may. RevChasM@Yahoo.com

I am also seeking the lyrics to an old song that can be found on MySpace called;
"In The Name Of Jesus I Take The Victory" (Not to be confused with the chorus, "In The Name of Jesus (We Have The Victory)"

Hear it onloine at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIF2SMJpCAE

I'd also love to find the words to Kirk Davis (Arden-Davis Singers) "Lift Up The Name!"

Thank You!
Pastor CC

If I Were You I'd Make a Change (And Be Baptized In Jesus Name)
Ohhhh...You Must Be Born Of The Water
I've Taken My Harp Down From The Willow Tree
I've Got The Holy Ghost Down In My Soul (Just Like The Bible Says)

Hi Felicity,

I pastor a small congregation and I lead the songs too. I only have about 33 songs right now. If you wouldn't mind sending me those songs too, it would be a great blessing. Thank you and God bless.
