It can't be very bad because the mention of hell
from the pulpits is at an all time low.
The downplaying of damnation shows the
influence of secularism on Christian theology.
Hell, is very bad, it is at work in our world, many of the peoples of the world are traveling the broad hellish path, when the straight way of life is available. Hell is present and many are living there right NOW.
The good news is that Jesus, has already overcome hell, and has reconciled all to the Father. He is at work to bring all to the narrow gate of life. This path is straight and it is easy to follow, because it is clearly defined, even the fool can follow once he enters. "...for my yoke is EASY, and my burden is LIGHT...!!!!

Hell is religously incorrect among the Church people. Few understand the righteousness and holiness of God anymore so its all about how God as a loving Father would not cast anyone into a place of torment.

Jesus said its better to cut your hand off than commit a sin. Jesus said better to put your eye out than to use it to commit a sin and go to Hell. People dont like that Jesus. They thinks its legalistic. It doesnt fit the nicey once saved always saved false grace doctrines of today.
I think one reason there is silence about Hell is many modern Christians percieve they may be going there.
