I met Bro. Larry Booker and LadyCoonskinner
Mrs. LC and I went to Kansas last week. We had a wonderful time. Elder Wade Bass, one of my top 10 favorite preachers of my life, was prophetic the two nights we heard him. He was extremely anointed. He spoke to some situations I needed spoken to and I am sooooo glad he obeyed the Holy Ghost.
Later in the week we had a chance to meet the illustrious LadyCoonskinner. She was extremely sweet and her and LadyChoco spoke for a while.
I also had an opportunity to meet Bro. Larry Booker. I have read many negative things about him on this forum. People can say what they wish, but I found him to be an incredible Christian GENTLEMAN and a good preacher. He preached from the heart and people all me, as well as myself, were touched deeply. While Bro. Booker was preaching, I felt like this was a man I needed to get to know. Afterwards, he sat and answered questions, told jokes, told church stories, and listened intently as others spoke. He treated the Pastor and the teenager the same. He was a man who deeply cares about our heritage. I found a kindred spirit with a heart for people. No I will not join the WPF because I don't/won't belong to any organization. But I will say, at least one of it's leaders(I have never met the others) is a Godly gentleman and I don't care what others say, I found a friend in a great man.

I have found Larry Booker to be exactly as you described, I may disagree with strongly about his decisons to do what he did, but I found him to be a genuine Christian with a passion for God and people.

I'm sure he's a fine man.
I just disagree with the whole "your kids will die if they play organized sports" thing.

I don't know anything about this. Do you have a reference where he said this?
