Haircut - and men's hair length

My pastor has told me - and I now accept it - that long hair is inappropriate for men. Do people agree?

It depends on the current culture! Right now, short hair on men is the norm.

Bro. I say this with all due respect. But if you are new to church or just getting back in church an internet forum is definitely not the place to be getting spiritual advice. The other thing is there are so many varying views here and I am sure you will find somewhere someone who agrees with your pastor but I personally believe you should go speak with your pastor about these things rather than getting all of your advice here

Long hair ain't wrong just not the norm. Advise, if someone tells you it is sin, tell them to show you were it is sin. Saying something is shameful which is often times the scripture used is wrong. The whole thing is written about genders blending and mixing authority. IMO

A man should have a hair length that doesn't look femine.He can have a full set he doesn't have a crew-cut but a man is not supposed to have a femine length of hair such as shoulder length hair.
Pray about it and study,and ask God to reveal truth to you.

You will be blessed by obeying the man in authority over you. If you're going to be a part of this man's church, then you should submit to him. If you think he's in error, and it's important enough to you, then seek God as to where you should attend. But if you're going to stay at that church, just submit.
