Teens Growing Porn Consumers
They’re one of its biggest consumers. They’re watching it in their own homes. They’re reporting that “conventional hardcore” is their main preference.
And “they” aren’t even adults.
Porn is proliferating, and children under the age of 18 have become one of its biggest consumers. Most of them have viewed it by the age of 11.

It is not even funny - just sad in more ways than one.

It's no big deal. It's on there, but they don't HAVE to look at it. They can CHOOSE not to.

Probably never ... since it's the pentecostal preacher's new toy of choice.
Funny how all those articles are quoted about the dangers of a television and the mantra is screeched: "People OUT OF THE CHURCH see the dangers of television!"
Well ... people OUT OF THE CHURCH here are pointing out a very real and far worse "danger" of the internet.
Amazing how you can "control" the internet but you can't control a far less dangerous television, according to these preachers.

Good post and it doesn't surprise me that puberty driven young men are looking at porn.

Re: Teens Growing Porn Consumers
This is extremely sad.... it breaks my heart to think of an 11 year old caught up in this.... I have an 11 year old son............ Ask him what sex is and he's not going to have any idea what so ever what it is... I am thankful all my children still have their innocence... but so many are robbed... Where are the Mom's and Dad's in these homes? Are they too busy with social lives, careers, or whatever to realize what is going on? Is there communication going on between Parent and Child?
It's so sad to think that people are so into this. Whether children, teens, or even adults........ it robs you of knowing what true love really is.... Terribly sad...

I talked to an 11 year old girl in the library once about chat rooms and what she was doing in them. (Sexually explicit discussions). She looked blank, like she had no clue what I was talking about, like I was from a foreign planet. It was sad.
