Re: Who's Minding the Store?
Just so that you will know - some are trying to get something done about it.
FoxBusiness.com Live Reports on HR 1207, Ron Paul’s Bill to Audit the Federal Reserve
May 22, 2009
http://www.ronpaul.com/2009-05-22/fo...deral-reserve/
124 congressman demand audit of Federal Reserve
Support multiplying for scrutiny of nation's money controllers
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.p...w&pageId=97079
Purpose of the Bill:
The bill, HR 1207, would do so by amending Section 714 of Title 31. Currently, the Comptroller General of the US can only audit the Federal Reserve with their consent. HR 1207 would eliminate that option.
Upside and Downside:
There is an upside and a downside to this bill. The upside is that it would create transparency within the Federal Reserve. The downside is that it would open the Federal Reserve to partisan and political interference; the Fed was designed to be free from that sort of thing.

They can steal from you without ever taking a dollar from you by devaluing what you already have. And, again, they are privately owned... these are individuals printing money and adding money to their books out of thin air and loaning it at face value.
Forget the interest... it comes from nowhere and they loan it out at face value.

That's like saying Renda will be the next to post on a shoe thread. It is kind of a given.

True and many folks don't know that.

I bought a new pair of shoes, on sale, Friday and I hate them!!! I didn't even try them on! Just liked the style, color and price!
What did you think of this side of the bill?
