One year ago on Mother's Day weekend (May 13th and 14th) Walt suffered a ruptured aortic aneurism and survived. He is a walking miracle!!
He is only here because of all of the prayers of people around the world - including many from my friends here on AFF (it was NFCF at the time).
This year, on May 13th, we are having an OPEN HOUSE to thank all the people who played such an important role in this miracle. We're so thankful for all of the love and prayers and support that was poured out on us during that terrible time. And now we'd like to be able to express our gratitude. That's the reason for the Open House.
It will be held here in Swanton from 2:00-5:00. I know that it's a long shot to even suggest that any might be able to drop in, but I want you all to know that you are soooooooooo very welcome to come!!!! If you even think you might be able to make it, please PM me and I will give you the address and directions.
And even if you can't come (and I don't expect you to) I still want you to know that we love you and we appreciate the way you circled around us and held us up in prayer. I am conpletely convinced that if was not for people like you and including you, I would be a widow today and my sons would be fatherless. Thank you will never be sufficient. But it's all I have to offer.

You must remember that it was you that brought the need to us, it was you and your Bulldof tenacity that would not let Walt go!

While I won't be able to be there in person you and Walt will be in my thoughts and prayers for many more years of time together!
Wow, Margie, that only seems like a few months ago. Where does the time go???? I'm so thankful that God answered those prayers! Wish we could all be there to celebrate His goodness with you.
