Rev. Vernon L. Neely passed away
Bro. Neely was the Texas District Secretary/Treasurer for a number of years.
Rev. Vernon L. Neely
Services for Rev. Vernon L. Neely, 81, of Lufkin will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Texas District United Pentecostal Church Campground. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. in the Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, La. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Neely was born Sept. 3, 1928 in Merryville, La., and died Jan. 19, 2010 at his residence. Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.

An awesome man of God! Knew him well - "back in the day..." Loved both Brother & Sister Neely - she is a very special lady!
