Re: No Limits
They serve "blue light specials" of holiness
They are repulsive. Expelling their discharge on exquisite truths. The truth is always open for talkers. Compulsive conjecture disorder, verbose, loquatious, they blather, unending reading and re-evaluations of scripture, new revelations, masters of emptiness, giving old heresies a new shine, erupt their ignorance out on unsuspecting ears. Beware of he who talks too much!
They require closed-speech systems. Truth can be over-talked, they have to be framed correctly. Words have to be boundaried, this is why we have sacred text, revealed text, articles of faith, they attempt to lock down truth so contrivance doesn't destroy it. They do it by taboo, formulation, reiteration, set it down. God to Eve "Don't talk beyond what I said." But the "talker" came. The Devil is also a talking backslider. Don't talk with them! This is why the Jews couldn't say the name of God, once it is spoken it passes into the marketplace of talk, which would desecrate it. God needs a demonstrable lodging, so don't ever say His name. Nothing, however, is final to the "talker."
Heresy refuses exegetic finality. The heretic is a talker without end.
Endless reinterpretations, revisions -- even when he goes back to the original source. Even the RCC knows, the fact of interpretation without end will modulate into 1) truth into historical criticism 2) deism 3) agnosticism
Lawyers know if you push a point too far, to the extremes, then it has the exact opposite of the judgement. Every area of life. There's some doctrine, some truth that is circumscribed that is not something we keep talking about. We don't talk about it.
That's why you need to listen to your pastor.
