Feels Odd This Morning

We are having one service today at Noon then a Thanksgiving dinner following the service and no service tonight. I am usually at the church by 7:30 so it feels odd then no church tonite will really feel odd. Hope y'all have a good day. Find your yourself in a bonifide Apostolic church that preaches the one and only message.

Kudos to you Rev., for try something a bit different! Perhaps you should check First Baptist or the local AOG? I know my pastors do that on 5th Sundays when we only have one service...

Hope the rapture doesn't happen with you forsaking the assembling of yourselves together and all.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I knew it would eventually happen.
Next he will be seen in a gray pinstripe suit.
And his wife will be preaching.
It's all downhill from here.
