Greetings in the name of the Lord! How are you my brothers and sisters in Christ? First, I would like thank the admin (Thank you and God bless you) Anyways, my name is Mercy from Cebu. I was converted and was baptized when I was 23 years old ( praise Jesus). It's been 5 years now that I'm back in the arms of God and His kingdom. I'm blessed and grateful to be here. Hello, and Shalom, Mercy. Wow, Philippines. I used to be dear friends with a man from the Philippines. He taught me a little Tagalog, but sadly I don't remember much of that now.
Are there many Apostolics in the Philippines?

Yes there are a lot of Apostolics here in the Philippines (Praise God). Glad to hear that, I speak tagalog and Cebuano. Have you been here in the Philippines sister?

Sadly, I personally have never been out of the United States. I long to go to Israel before I go anywhere else, but I would definitely say that the Philippines is on my list. I was surprised to hear that there were a lot of Apostolics in the Philippines. I remember reading old missionary reports about work in the Philippines, though.
Very glad to hear from a Filipino believer.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I was in the Centennial Crusades in 2001. I was in the Manila group and I have many awesome memories of the wonderful people I met!
