Another HS Shooting... Sowing and Reaping

When I heard about what happened this morning, I was astonished and I had the thought, "What is going on in our country? What is happening?"

My next thought was that we are reaping what we have sown. God have mercy on us. Forgive us all. If it is even a thing, Forgive our collective country and shine your Light of Grace on us-- keeping back from us all of our just rewards concerning the violence (domestically and internationally) our country has caused or turned its head from in the past. Father, have mercy and do not give us what we deserve.

These are evil days.

Hey Buckeye speak for yourself this is the greatest country on earth. Evil things happen all over the globe not just the US. You think God allows this type of thing to happen as revenge on the US for the sins of the people? People that do these types of things are evil and sinful, we live in a fallen world and sin is rampant. The US is still blessed by God. not cursed.

What? You think these things just happen because we live in a fallen world? That it has no connection to the wickedness, violence, and iniquity that we as a people drink down to the dregs. We love violence and death, we can't get enough gore and blood in our movies, TV shows, and video games. We are given over to alcoholism and drug use, and rather than stop it, we legalize more and more because we love money more than our children. Even what Christianity we do have as a whole is largely overrun with idolatry. Our politicians are corrupt, our ministers are self seeking smooth talking dreamers, and nobody is bothered by any of it.

When these things happen, we ARE reaping what we sow by allowing our children to witness 50,000 simulated murders through entertainment by age 18. We are reaping what we sow by father's not leading their children in the home through prayer, the reading of scripture, and godly parenting. We are reaping what we sow by neglecting taking our families to church while we play golf, watch football, or simply do nothing on Sunday, while little Johnny loops death metal on his iPod for hours on end in his room. We are reaping what we sow by being self absorbed. Why should your kid care about anyone else when they've never seen their parents help someone, feed someone, or sacrifice time or goods for another? We reap what we sow by loving sin.

On Thursday, an investigative reporter by the name of Paul Sperry explained that the Justice Department’s Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, has announced that he has “found ‘reasonable grounds’ for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ’s handling of the Clinton investigation/s.” He continued on saying that the top watchdog official has “referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution.”

Explosives found at boys address. Journal “found” where he wrote he wanted to do a shooting and then kill himself.

Kid was supposedly a "Columbiner". Always wore black trenchcoat regardless of temperature, had farcebook page with pics of him with pentagrams, German Iron Crosses, Soviet emblems, and "the Columbine button", some kind of pentagram pin or button, same as Kliebold wore on his shoe.

In March there was a "report of shooting" at same school that supposedly turned out to be some kind of "false alarm".

Also in the news, nobody wants to hear about the IG report...

I read a news report claiming the shooter used an AR15, but now they are saying he used a "sawed off shotgun" and a 38 revolver.

Also read a report that local National Guard units were on site "distributing supplies".

Which of course makes me go "Oh, that's like totally normal for national guard units to be on site immediately after a school shooting."
