He also was a good Senator from Tennessee and I beieve Asst. DA in real life.
I beleive he is a good man and good canidate. I hope he has the "fire in the belly" that it takes to endure the rigors of a modern Presidential campaign.

thompson was my senator when i lived in tennessee, he is a good guy and a good leader, good conservative, i hope he does well, dt

I'm impressed with how he was able to get his name out with the front runners and did it without spending a single dime on a campaign. I say, "Way to go, Fred!" That's real conservatism.
