Rewriting History!

Wikipedia gives us a chance to re-write history, or to at least fix mistakes, or add details that were left out of the article.

I added a bit to the "United Pentecostal Church" section a few weeks ago. Someone decided to take out my contributions and make the UPC all polished and pretty.

The following are screen captures of what I had posted that has since been deleted. My contributions are in green highlights:

Censorshop at it's finest ... Berk ... It's how some people will say they stand for truth ... but will do what they can to sanitize it.

I had commented a few weeks ago to J-Roc that someone had finally addressed some issues missing the Wikipedia article ... I am baffled and outraged that some policeman/woman went in and SANITIZED.

There was a "Controversies" section. It's completely removed!

If the information is not independently verifiable, Wikipedia tends to delete it.

Someone had added Blue Denium Whales and Shockamoo at one time. It didn't stay in there very long.

Yes, it's a fact, we can rewrite history, and I for one am just amazed.

If you listen to Rush, you know public schools slant history to their particular bias.

I've been in or part of or at least on the fringes of the UPC forever...and much of the 2000's teachings are part of the rewriting history fame. Now it may have existed in the "south" but I can say the "north" had a different view in the 40's & 50's. It's ok to believe it, just don't say it was always that way!
