Some of you may remember I posted asking prayer for a little lady in her 70´s that pastors a church close to one of our churches where robbers came in and robbed them during a service.
Today my husband and some ministers had lunch with her and she has asked about baptism in Jesus Name and the oneness. Please pray for her understanding to be opened to understand a more perfect way. Thanks.

The first time I ever met her she was very hard against oneness...kindness has won her heart and has opened her eyes to dig deeper into the word of the Lord.

With loving kindess have I drawn thee...I sit here weeping as the reality of this rings in my spirit.
Renda is SO right in that we need to be grounded in what this is all about.

We have always practiced kindness to people...she called me today while they were eating and was so glad Brother Alvear could go there with some others. I could not go because we have a couple visiting us from our church here.
Please do remember her in your prayers.

Gee, I wonder what lesson we can learn here? Oh, I know....
You can catch more bees with honey than you can with a flyswatter. That is, if you really wanna catch some bees! Thanks for the Lesson Mother Alvear, and we'll be praying for you and for the sister!

That's the way it is with some Bible Methodist friends of mine...they 'look' more like us than us.

Good to hear.
The hardcore, in-your-face approach tends not to work very well.
The kinder, more patient approach usually ends up being much more effective.

the Bible says, He that winneth souls is wise...I hope I always remember that...
Seen people run off a lot of precious people in my lifetime...

Thank you friend.
I have found out before you can help people they must tust you and know that you are their friend.
While I feel Acts 2:38 is very important I would never say these people have nothing...many of them walk in all the light they have and we must shine a greater light on their pathway.
