Will post pictures later when I get them downloaded, but I was priviliged to preach in a All African Kenyan church that a friend of mine started about a year ago. God has blessed him in a years time so that he now runs about 100 or more in attendance. They are so easy to preach and minister to, humble and very grateful.

During the service God gave me prophetic word for the Pastor, when I looked at him he had the word Warehouse written on him, I told him that God was going to give him a warehouse for a church, he almost fell out, unbeknown to me, this very day he had the paperwork in his office ready to be faxed to a Realtor to lease a warehouse for their new church building.

I hope Sherri reads this, I left a message on the Bishop C's phone, but we were introduced to the daughter of the leading Evangelist/Leaders in Kenya, this guy leads crusades of 500,000 or more, has a TV ministry and is very prominent. His name is Bishop Pius Muiru.

I will get to meet him next month. Anyway the door has opened for me to travel to Kenya in the coming future.

When I saw the title of this thread I just had to click on it to see how one preaches with pictures! I was thinking it must be something like the flannelgraph my Sunday School teachers used to use back when I was a kid.

LOL!!! I can't even think up titles for my own threads. Sometimes there is just not enough room.

Those pics are great. Looks like you had a great time and I am sure were a blessing.

As usual your wife sure looks a lot prettier than you do!

(I don't know if I ever told you guys but that night we left Jackson to head back to Nashville my wife and I both agreed that your wife is very beautiful!)

I hope so, I was so surprised everyone spoke great English, they sang every song in English except one, they mix a little bit of an African beat and this one lady did the schrill things with her tongue.

Yes, I am blessed, she makes coming home worth it.

Keith--
Ok, you just made me cry! Looking at these pictures made me want to go to Kenya really bad. I sure hope we get to go in July. Such precious people. I will say that this church building they are in is MUCH nicer than anything we have been in, in Kenya. Also, the people are dressed very American (mostly). You would never see pants on a woman in church in Kenya!!

I would love to meet your friends. I will ask our pastors if they have ever heard of the guy you were referring to in Kenya.

I just googled this bishop. Evidently he ran for President this past election!

If what they say is true, he pastors a church about 3k in Nariobi, and is well known. Either way someone to network with in the future.

They are precious people, I would love to go in the near future, but I promised my sons that I would not travel overseas til late in the year, I have taken 3 International trips in the last 14 months, so I need to focus on home right now. God has used us to really help them, I saw the hand of God on this pastor and what words we have spoken over his life have come to pass, so he feels a real connection and love for me and Jeanie.

Pastor Martins says things are starting to settle down, the church spent a lot of time praying for Kenya today.

When I do go, this Bishop guy has works in every province and Martin said that can/will preach everywhere.

Our head pastor preached in one of the biggest Spirit filled churches in Nairobi once last year. I wonder if that's his church. I just emailed Chris to ask him.
It looks like we will be doing our pastor's conference in Nairobi again if we go this year. I really wanted to go back to Western Kenya, but in case we had to get out quickly, Nairobi is a much safer place.

Great report Keith! The new open door is exciting and is an assurance that the gifts from God will have an opportunity to operate.

By the way, I just ordered CD's today to learn Swahili. I can't wait to go into Kenya and be able to communicate a little in their native language.

You will find that most people in Nairobi speak English. The further you go west or north, the less English is spoken. Some of our pastors and several of their wives do not speak English at all. We have to use Swahili translators.
