I was just going to send these to Sherri because I know that she has family ties to missions in Liberia. These are some pictures from a trip to the interior of Liberia that my father just forwarded to me.

Greetings in Jesus Name from Liberia!
>
> We traveled beyond Fassama Misssion to attend Section II
> Annual Conference. Even Though it was about 200 miles it
> took us 15 hours each way. This was due to the deplorable
> road conditions. In a distance of about 60 miles in the
> dense rain forest we counted 54 bridges. Most of them had
> to be repaired before crossing.
>
> However, when we arrived in Baloma, the saints were very
> excited to see us. The conference was great. The
> attendance was about 700. Some had walked two full days to
> get to the conference. We had 8 filled with the Holy Ghost
> and 12 baptized in Jesus Name. Many testified of being
> healed and revived.
>
> Attached are a few pictures:

I knew some of the first ones that started the work there...May God bless Liberia. I wept tonight looking at these pictures. I know Sherri will be blessed.
Thanks for posting.
The last command of our Lord before leaving this earth was, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:19, 20). Here is a command and a promise. It is one of the sweetest promises in the Bible. I think most missionaries would agree with me about this precious promise that He goes with us even to the ends of the world.

"The liberal soul shall be made fat" (Proverbs 11:25). "He which soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully," and "God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work" (2 Corinthians 9:6, 8, 9).

Thanks so much, Bro. Stewart, for posting these pictures from your dad!!! I read the stories of how Sis. Gruse and some of the early missionary ladies forged their way through this dense jungle with just machetes and gave their entire lives to serve the people here. When Eddie and his family lived there, there were no roads at all; they had to fly in and out. But it was those ladies who sacrificed everything to get there first; I will always honor them for that!
