Was anyone watching MSNBC when JM announced his VP pick? This is what the left-wing media showed. I'm glad someone else got upset.

what else would you expect from that left wing bunch of kooks?
MSNBC and the other Hollywood entertainment media are really pushing Barack Obama. About the only place where you don't see Obama promoted is on Fox.

shows where America is heading...very sad.
MSNBC has lost their mind. I remember back when the Iraq war started I actually watched their coverage more than Fox news because it was so good.
Somewhere over the last three or four years ago they went from reporting the news with some commentary to where everything they do is full of hatred and disrespect for Presiident Bush and Republicans in general.
I have made a point to occasionally channel surf over there to see if they are still at it and I am astounded at the things I see and hear. They call President Bush stupid, a moron, etc. Things that no matter how much I was displeased with Clinton I would never have considered it proper for TV personalities to call a President.
It is so skewed they have almost become a caricature of themselves. If i was a legitimate jouranlist like Tom Brokaw or Brian Williams I would call a meeting with the top brass at GE / NBC and refuse to appear any more on MSNBC until they get it under control. Right now it is a joke.

For all the good it would do, you could send them an email and tell them what you think. Aren't they always asking for viewer comments? I know most of the stations do.

These guys have lost any credibility they may have had.
They are now just part of the whole Hollywood/media/union/abortionist/greenie/feminist/GLBT/racist pack of dogs snarling and snapping at the ankles of President Bush.

I do not waste my time watching MSNBC. Wait I take that back, I did watch Lock Up, a prison documentary. It's Fox News for me all the time.

It usually takes me all of about 2 minutes of MSNBC to move on to another channel, they are making CNN look fair.

Well let's see they do seem to report the news that CNN, and MSNBC forgot as well as all the news they report. Does Fox lean to the right? Maybe. But Colmes doesn't lean right, Geraldo Rivera doesn't lean right. Are they a spin machine for the Republicans, I don't think so. Does the Communist News network (CNN) lean left? I don't think there is any doubt. Does MSNBC lean left, even one of their own has complained about it. So is fox fair and balanced? If one slightly right leaning station can balance out to left wing stations and the major networks, then they make the news fair and balanced.

They are saying we will get some high tides and some rain. They say nothing to worry about at this time.
I think this pretty well describes most of the media

FOX is a defacto cog in the GOP propoganda machine, right in there w/Liddy and Limbaugh.
Aren't ya'll just a little over the top? MSNBC isn't that bad.

I actually watch MSNBC most of the time b/c I love Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarborough. Olbermann is a joke for a journalist and Matthews has really gone goofy lately with his lack objectivity. What is funny is that MSNBC has decided to go far left the past few years and they still come up ranking third in the ratings game. Fox beats them most of the time by 3-4 times the audience.
I watch them b/c they focus on politics more than the other cable news channels. But I am able to decipher through the bias and liberal influence b/c I am Hannitized AND a Ditto-Head!:club

I like Olbermann's humor and I actually think Matthews is fairly balanced most of the time. I've seen him regularly grill Dems and Repubs pretty hard and not let them get away with too much baloney. I'm not a Ditto-head any more, but I am able to cut thru most of the junk and find my own balance. Maybe that's why I'm not Dem or Repub, a very un-Ditto head thing to do I know. :)

I see that so far, not a single liberal wants to come on this thread and criticize MSNBC on this.
I guess they'd rather use this as another opportunity to bash Fox News, even though Fox is not the issue here.
Funny how libs can see bias at Fox News but not on MSNBC.

I'm probably a liberal by your standards, and I don't think their 'houses' comment was good journalism. But I also think it wasn't all that bad and that BillO is overreacting and being politically opportunistic here, a rather hypocritical position considering he's blasting another network for being politically biased. Overall,MSNBC, like most media, are biased to some degree toward Democrats. Duh! So what?! Conservatives have their own propaganda machine too. Bill O is a prime example. The way he takes this as an opportunity to demean Williams and Brokaw, who had no part of this particular incident, is reprehensible. BillO is the worst one out there, aside from maybe Geraldo Rivera. So there are rats on both ships. Big deal.

Did they do this for Obama or Biden's speech?

Attacks, praise stretch truth at GOP convention By JIM KUHNHENN, Associated Press Writer
Wed Sep 3, 11:48 PM ET
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her Republican supporters held back little Wednesday as they issued dismissive attacks on Barack Obama and flattering praise on her credentials to be vice president. In some cases, the reproach and the praise stretched the truth.
