View Full Version : Questioning Sarah's Church Beliefs

Both things from last night - - - some of the things they said made my skin crawl (making fun of speaking in tongues). Asking why God hasn't done a better job of things if Sarah believes you can pray for his direction.

Thanks for the links!
Well, they missed the point when she said that Palin is wanting the "will of her religion". She was seeking and praying for "divine direction". TD Jakes did a great job. His answers were spot on.
I come away with the knowing of how sad they don't understand the beauty of prayer and the power and direction of God. I think that is sad. I can picture them on a before and after, on meeting God, if it ever happened. I hope that it does.
Having said that, the woman just has to be jealous that she looks like a man and Palin doesn't. :ursofunny
Lord, that haircut made me sicker than what she said. :ursofunny I can't stand that haircut on a woman! :vomit I almost couldn't stand looking at her and her manly demeanor. :vomit

I agree!
It saddened me too that they don't have a CLUE what it is to believe in God and trust him. Then the whole thing with "pray away the gay" - - they just don't get it - - that God can do anything!

They do more harm to themselves. Look at Oprah. Her ratings are down because her stand on a more "new age" religion.
I remember when Rosie O'D first came on the view. I told someone, "She will spiral down." You can just bank on those things.

I was so NOT impressed with KO and Rachel. They acted dumber than a bag of rocks and else they think their listening audience is dumber than a bag of rocks!
Obvisously, prayer is not a part of their lives since they haven't a clue how it works.
And Rachel saying God's initals are G.O.D.
Good grief!
Oh that kind of nonesense makes me so mad!

Notice the liberal media didn't take Obama to task over his church.
The talk radio shows did.

I watched the clips from The View on-line. They were discussing this today. I don't watch them, generally, but saw a reference to their show and checked it out.

Rachel is gay, right? And Keith O. is a far extreme left winger. These videos don't surprise me; I just hope people have sense enough to see past them.

WHat you just witnessed was a liberal anti-christian, anti-Right and anti-Republican polemic.
It's not designed to be fair or unbiased. Quite the contrary...nobody is fair and unbiased when their number 1 goal is to influence the minds and opinions of those that hear them

Oberman and Maddow are liberal just like O'Reiley and Hannity are conservative. Nothing wrong with the liberal viewpoint getting some airtime.

No wonder this woman got upset with Sarah's church converting gays.
In 1995 Maddow traveled as a Rhodes scholar to Oxford, where she began a doctorate in political science, focusing on the intersection of the AIDS and prison movements. She moved back to the United States to finish her dissertation, crashing with friends in Western Massachusetts. "I wanted to live somewhere where I'd be unhappy," she explains. "And I have no interest in New England, hate winter, don't like the country, not fond of animals." More than a decade later, Maddow still divides her time between her home in Northampton, Massachusetts, and an apartment in Greenwich Village, both of which she shares with her girlfriend, artist Susan Mikula. The couple have been together for almost ten years, and Maddow calls their relationship "my proudest accomplishment."
If this is her proudest accomplishment her accomplishments must be few!!

I figured she was gay listening to her talk and "shudder" about the gay comment.

Though I suspect we are not alike in our political views, I agree 100%. Is fox right leaning? Yep. Are most of the other people left leaning? Yep. This has not been a secret for a long, long time. Sample both and try and get a balanced view.
